Welcome
A school that builds character
Since 2000, Alwafaa Lebanese School has opened its doors to generation after generation of students, teaching them that knowledge means little without the character to carry it, and that a school should feel like a second home rather than a set of rooms and desks.
We offer an education that joins the rigour of the Lebanese national curriculum to the openness of modern teaching, in a place where every teacher knows their students by name, and every parent finds an open door.
Academics
Our academic cycles
We accompany each student from their first days in kindergarten through to the Brevet.
Kindergarten
A warm, secure first experience of school, where children meet letters, numbers and languages through play, and build the confidence to belong.
Primary
The foundations - reading, writing and arithmetic - laid carefully, with particular attention to all three languages: Arabic, English and French.
Intermediate
Broader scientific and literary study, the beginnings of independent thought, and preparation for the Brevet examinations.
Our values
What we hold to
Belonging
We raise students who are proud of their language, their history, and their place in Lebanon.
Learning
Knowledge is a trust. A teacher here is a partner in forming a person, not simply a source of information.
Character
Honesty, respect and loyalty are not lessons to be recited. They are practised daily, inside the classroom and beyond it.
